Expertly managed by professionals who understand the psychology of learning

With over 25 years of teaching experience between us, we enjoy a reputation in Slough and the surrounding areas for establishing a good rapport with pupils and parents alike. We believe this has been the key to our continued success as we allow each individual pupil to thrive in a learning environment which fosters a thirst for learning and ultimately allows them to reach for the stars.

abdul-Basith Awan

Born and bred in Slough, Abdul-Basith attended Upton Court Grammar School where he completed GCSEs and A-Levels before embarking on his Foundation Degree in Science & Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London. He then proceeded to achieve a Diploma in Physics at Royal Holloway, University of London, before completing his undergraduate studies, BSc Physics at the University of Hertfordshire. A lifelong learner, he is currently perusing his MRes in Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Hertfordshire. With a wide range of academic experience under his belt, both on a professional and personal level, Abdul-Basith is in a prime position to lead pupils on the path to success in their respective fields. Having held a position as an independent war correspondent, he is a natural at being pushed out of his comfort zone - a trait he is only too happy to teach pupils as being key to success. Happily married to his childhood sweetheart with 3 children, he also plays tennis for UH and at an international level at ITF seniors.

Mohsin Ashraf

Having enjoyed a private educational background at a prestigious secondary school, Mohsin achieved great GCSE grades in the year before embarking on the International Baccalaureate - a rigorous academic programme which encompassed 8 subjects equivalent to A-Level standard. He completed his undergraduate studies, BSc Biomedical Sciences, at Royal Holloway, University of London. Mohsin is currently perusing his studies in Islamic Law & Theology and boasts over a decade of teaching experience which he imparts on all tutors with the same vigour and zeal as he did at the start of his tutoring profession. Thrust in to tutoring at a young age, he begun teaching his contemporaries before embarking on the mentoring career path. Mohsin prides himself on his ability to think outside the box and regularly enhances pupils' learning with unique methods of explaining difficult concepts in an easy-to-grasp way. He is now happily married with a baby daughter and enjoys working out in his (limited) spare time.
